In December, 2005 we were looking for a different kind of holiday gift for friends and family. We wanted to give something we could make ourselves that was low impact, ecologically sound, energy-conserving, sustainable, safe, and effective…and it had to be luscious! Since we are both botanically inclined, using plant essences and essential oils seemed like the right thing to do. So we formulated a spray deodorant that, we realized, could be used all over the body and to freshen any room.
Once intoxicated by the scents of essential oils wafting through the house, we decided on the recipe for Luscious. After many hours at the dining room table, using eye droppers to fill 50 bottles with 10 different essential oils, we presented our friends and family with their gifts. They loved it! That’s when we decided to make Luscious available to all of you. We hope you enjoy it. |
